Westhouses have hopped to it this Easter!

The Westhouses Community Association have an amazing proactive Knit & Natter group that create seasonal yarn bombing fun in the village and this time they worked closely with local talented creative Wendy Ducksbury to design, make and build this wonderful piece for their residents and passing cars to enjoy this Easter. It’s a beauty to enjoy in person and is positioned on the edge of ‘The Railway Gardens’ in Westhouses, Derbyshire.

Over a series of planning sessions, making sessions and workshops the group have worked tirelessly to make this wonderful piece for the community and beyond to enjoy. Creative Wendy brought her amazing skills to the group to bring their ideas to life!

Here’s some feedback from the knit and natter group:

It was fabulous to work with Wendy again.
She pulled it out of the bag once more and made a show stopper to be proud of it will put us on the map for sure, especially once we get local TV on board! Thank you from all our group we had a great morning with plenty of laughs along the way, really enjoyed our session.
